Maintenance on time is the cheapest work on an engine

Everything skipped shows up later as an overhaul. We carry out planned maintenance to the engine builder’s running-hour intervals, and we do it in a way that produces usable data: clearances measured and recorded, wear rates tracked visit over visit, findings written down. Over a few intervals that turns into a picture of how your engine is actually ageing, which is what lets you plan an overhaul instead of reacting to one. Work can be carried out during a port call, at anchor, during a yard period or under way, depending on the scope and the safety situation.

Cylinder head of a marine engine with valve gear exposed

Scope

  • Running-hour based maintenance packages
  • Cylinder head and valve service, valve clearance setting
  • Fuel injector and injection pump service and calibration
  • Piston ring and liner inspection, wear measurement
  • Bearing clearance checks and crankshaft deflection readings
  • Turbocharger inspection, cleaning and bearing service
  • Cooler cleaning and pressure testing
  • Governor and safety system function testing
  • Performance measurement and indicator diagrams

What you get

A service report per visit with measurements against tolerance, work performed, parts consumed, findings that need attention before the next interval, and a recommended scope for the next one.
